We hold Sunshine Coast Council Permits - Fully insured and Registered.

  • Why should I book with Noosa Picnics?
    Noosa Picnics, is a locally owned small business & council permitted picnic hire company on the Sunshine Coast, with 10 years experience and local knowledge. Don't risk a fine or being moved on if your chosen picnic co does not hold a council permit. Proposal settings are our specialty ​ We purchase the highest quality linens and picnic wares, to ensure both style and comfort. We also take the time to soak, launder & iron each piece, before each and every picnic setting. No dirty Kmart cushions here!
  • What's included in your picnic?
    All of our picnics include the following; Set-up and pack-away service, rug/duvet base, pillows/cushions, picnic table, everlasting or real flowers (not to keep,) ice bucket with ice, bluetooth speaker, glassware, and fairy and/or table lights for dark. The picnic setting is equipped with quality plates, glassware, quality linen napkins, gold cutlery, insect repellent, and antibacterial wet wipes. * Each picnic setting may differ, to see a full list of inclusions please visit the individual setting page.
  • What about food and drinks?
    You are most welcome to bring your own food and drinks. Alternatively, Noosa Picnics provide a list of licensed caterers for you to browse their options to best suit your picnic needs upon booking. Catering can include, high tea hampers, cheese / anitpasto platters / grazing boards or tables / uber eats are also a great option. Please book direct with your chosen caterer including date, time and location, along with wet weather backup delivery address in case of inclement weather. This way you can discuss any dietary requirements, restrictions or preferences with your caterer. We will coordinate delivery location and times, with your chosen supplier on the day. ​ * Catering is done through one of the licensed suppliers. Noosa Picnics accepts no responsibility for food and food safety as this is the sole responsibility of the licensed caterer who prepares and delivers to our picnic setting.
  • What location should I have my picnic?
    Noosa / Sunshine Coast picnics hold a council permit for several locations. If you have a specific location in mind for your special occasion, a council permit can be obtained. We usually look to the winds and conditions to choose the perfect location. We can recommend some amazing private properties or Airbnbs for a totally private setting. Maleny, Montville and the Hinterland are really beautiful and there are many options available for complete privacy. Please note we may confirm location closer to the date so we can rely on the previously listed factors. A google maps pin will be sent. Please also check your email for any last minute changes.
  • Do you take a deposit? No deposit means No booking.
    Yes, Noosa Picnics take a deposit upon booking. NO DEPOSIT = NO BOOKING! Your deposit will be returned in the event that your picnic can not proceed due to the weather conditions however we usually do coordinate a back up plan. Please note for no shows and last minute cancellations we will charge you the full price of the picnic setting.
  • What is the duration of the picnic?
    Your picnic duration is 2 hours, as our clients usually find this the perfect amount of time. You are most welcome to extend your picnic at an extra expense of $100 per hour.
  • Can we keep the flowers?
    Flowers are usually part of the setting and styling. If florals are taken by you or your guests, you will be charged the full price. Flower arrangements can be purchased or ordered to keep if requested. Flower arrangements start from $60 each.
  • Weather ?
    Sunshine Coast weather can change quite rapidly. unfortunately there are not many undercover options. Please have a plan b in place for inclement weather, this can be at your accommodation. You are also welcome to cancel at no charge. I usually look to the BOM radar for up to date conditions. If you wish to proceed against my recommendations, an extra charge may incur to dry the cushions and linens.
