Meet Sarah-Louise, Director of Noosa Picnics
I’m Sarah-Louise, Director and lead stylist at Noosa Picnics. I’ve always loved the little details that turn an ordinary day into something memorable, and there’s nothing I love more than creating beautiful spaces where people can slow down, celebrate and make memories together.
My Story
I’ve called the Sunshine Coast home since 2009, and I honestly can’t imagine living anywhere else.
Before Noosa Picnics, I spent my twenties working in real estate and as an auctioneer. It taught me a lot about people, planning and attention to detail, but it was also a career surrounded by stress, pressure and, often, people going through some of the hardest moments of their lives. Eventually, I realised I wanted to build something that felt completely different. Something centred around happiness, connection and creating beautiful memories.
And that’s really what Noosa Picnics has become for me.
I know Noosa like the back of my hand. I know the beaches, the seasons, the weather patterns and all those little details that can make or break a picnic. I’m also incredibly particular about the people we work with, from our florists to our food suppliers, and I’ve built close relationships with our vendors over the years so I know that everything we put into a picnic is going to be beautiful and the best quality we can find.
Most importantly, I believe that looking after our team is one of the most important parts of running a good business. I want the people who work with us to genuinely enjoy what they do, because I think that happiness flows through everything we create for our clients.
These days, alongside running Noosa Picnics, I’m studying a Bachelor of Business and Marketing, with big plans for where we can take the business next. I’d love to grow our little team and, one day, bring the Noosa Picnics experience to other beautiful corners of Australia.
My favourite picnic: The Noosa Beach Picnic. The pink setup will always have a very special place in my heart because my husband proposed to me through Noosa Picnics at Access 14 in that exact setup. Although when it comes to styling, I’ll always have a soft spot for beautiful autumn tones.
A little full-circle story: My husband and I bought Noosa Picnics not long after getting engaged. The previous owner reached out to me because of my background in real estate, and what started as a conversation turned into something that would completely change our lives. ♡
