Alexandra Headland is one of those 'picture perfect' beaches. You know the ones you see on Pinterest or in movies. Secluded but right in the heart of the Sunshine Coast, it's just one of those locations you have to go to once in your life.
Our favourite picnic spot along Alex Heads is tucked around the corner by a pandanus tree, the quintessential 'Noosa Picnics' location, even though it is outside of Noosa itself. Dreamy, private and quiet there is no better place to make the most of your Beach Picnic set up on the Sunshine Coast.
A few notable points of this location, especially if you're planning a proposal.
There is minimal shade, we will always recommend an umbrella or our Cabana options
Parking on Saturdays and Sundays can be a little tricky so be sure to give yourself some extra time to find a park
There are a lot of stairs leading to this location so it is not always viable for us to set up and we do need a second set of hands! Upon booking request we can advise if we can get you there
This location is 100% tide dependant, there is no back up or secondary location to set up if we are high tide or have a king tide so we may recommend another spot or time depending on tide times
You may encounter a furry passer-by or two
Wind direction can effect this locations viability on the day
When planning a proposal with Noosa Picnics, we endeavour to make your moment perfect. A part of our services is to watch the weather, tides and wind direction and plan for a back up if we can't get you exactly where you want to go! Half an hour before your picnic we will pin drop you our live location and wait for your arrival, and don't worry.. we're experts at hiding.
Enquire today to discuss proposal and engagement picnics, locations and how we can help bring your dream to life.
